Our air conditioner stopped running effectively last week. It was in the middle of a heat wave so we needed someone to fix it ASAP. After calling a couple of places, we decided to have Dennis work on the conditioner. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our decision. Within minutes of inspecting our air conditioner he found the problem and was able to fix it within 24 hours at a very reasonable price. Dennis is very honest and compassionate. He installed heating and air conditioning units for me. There was an issue with the unit that was installed in my home which would never would have been obvious to me, but Dennis told me about it and made good on the difference. He made an effort to get my unit working even though he was unable to work on it himself that day and in the heat of the day - I had ac working the same day.

I called Dennis Grimes to repair my heating system. He showed up within an hour and promptly diagnosed the problem and successfully repaired the unit. He was very professional and courteous. Mr. Grimes delivered fast, friendly service in July! He didn't mind my standing about to see what they were doing - he encouraged it! He was punctual and attended to the job efficiently. As I overheard him and his coworker interacting, they spoke clearly and kindly to one another. I will definitely call Grimes and Galan for my next heating/air conditioning crisis! (Let's face it - it's a crisis when the AC goes out in Texas!)

Wanted to say Fathers Day week-end and I went to visit my son in College Station and around 8-9pm Saturday evening the ac stopped working. I found three AC companies and contacted them all on the internet, an hour later Dennis Grimes emailed me and we set up a early morning appointment for fathers day! He was there found and fixed the problem within 1.5 hours. I never met Dennis as I returned home before he arrived but he has great communications and tells you what needs to be done, and acts like the money will be coming out of his pocket – he watches out for the customers and their money – thanks and I will be sure to always use his services!

I purchased a new HVAC Carrier system 3 years ago from another local company. Each year (in the heat of the Summer) I've had the same reoccurring issue and kept with the same company afraid of voiding my manufacture warranty. It happened again this time I decided to try someone new and get a second opinion. I emailed Dennis Grimes and he promptly responded and fixed my issue immediately for 1/2 the cost of what I was paying the "other" company.  My new system was also making a very loud vibrating noise and I always thought it was off since it was new. I was told that's normal from the other company. Turns out Mr. Grimes noticed there was way too much Puron in my system so he adjusted it and now it runs quiet and I can hardly tell it's on. I highly recommend Dennis Grimes and recommend staying away from the bigger companies and keeping business local. It was more personable and he obviously knows his stuff. Huge lesson learned for me. I came home the evening of 8/23 around 7:30pm to discover that the central A/C in my house had stopped working. By the time I was able to start calling some local companies it was around 9pm; out of quite a few places I called at that hour, Dennis was one of two who answered. We were able to arrange an appointment for the following afternoon, and he was able to quickly make the relevant repairs. Very courteous and professional all around. Pricing was reasonable. All around, a positive experience. I particularly appreciate him making the effort to respond to a call at such a late hour.
