- • Check Freon – and add up to 1 pound if needed. We take the time to use Superheat or Sub-cool method recommended by manufactures.
- • Clean Condenser Coil – a clean coil runs more efficiently and costs less to operate.
- • Check Capacitors – This part is the most likely to fail. We’ll check the capacitance tolerances.
- • Check Contactor – We’ll make sure it functions properly.
- • Check Fan Motor – and bearings.
- • Check Drains – blow out if we can do it without cutting drain. Offer discount for drain fitting to blow drains if needed.
- • Check Temperature Difference Across Evaporator Coil – High temperatures could be the result of a dirty filter or evaporator. Lower temperatures could be caused by low Freon or a duct leak.
