Perform this check on the systems below once or twice a year to maximize their lifetime.
Furnace or Air Handler
Conditions the air (heats, cools and remove humidity during the cooling cycle.) The drainpipe to the evaporator needs to be checked for proper drainage.
Outside Unit or Condenser
Over time, the condenser will accumulate dirt and dust, which will reduce the capacity and efficiency. With energy prices going drastically going up, regular cleaning and maintenance can extend the life of your unit and reduce your energy bill.
Freon level
Freon level is very critical to get very best efficiency out of your system. If it is too low, your compressor will overheat. If is too high, it sends liquid freon to the compressor. Liquid freon will wash all the oil off your compressor bearings. We use the latest instrument to check freon level.
Ducts
We can look over your ducts and give an idea what kind of condition they are. Old leaky ducts or even new ducts too small and installed wrong will shorten the life of your system. If you are not moving enough air through airtight and properly installed ducts your system will not move the right amount of air.
Filters
One of the most important parts of the Air Conditioning system. Changing filters when needed will keep the indoor fan, coils and ducts clean. You cannot have an efficient system with dirt on fan and coil clean.
