We charge a diagnosis fee so we can afford to take our time properly diagnosing the scope of the repairs needed. We individually assess repairs so the resulting work order is custom to you suit your needs. Our diagnosis process, increases the accuracy of our repair work and reduces stress on the customer.
Our diagnosis fee for repairs includes:
- Travel time to and from the job site with our equipment
- Our expertise and the full amount of time it takes to prepare the custom diagnosis (range from 5 min to 1 hour)
- A custom quote prepared exclusively for you
- The opportunity to answer any questions you may have
- Once the estimate is prepared, we’ll offer a range of dates to schedule the work for completion. Most of the time we can fix the problem the same day. If we need to order parts, we’ll let you know how quickly we can bring them in and when we can return to complete the job.
*Please note, we do not charge a fee to estimate new installations. To schedule an estimate for a new installation please contact us.

At least once a year, but getting it serviced twice a year is ideal. Once in the fall before the heating season begins and once in the spring before the cooling season starts.
One simple thing to check is to make sure that you have good batteries in the thermostat. Otherwise, the best thing to do is turn the system off until a service tech can take a look at it. This will help protect the system from further damage from trying to run with one component not working.
We recommend changing filters once each month in the summer and up to three months in the winter. While high merv filters remove more dust and debris from the air, they also restrict airflow. This can lead to problems such as reduced energy efficiency, more wear and tear on the equipment, and a too cold air stream, which can cause mold growth on the vents and in the ducts. If you want better filtration, we recommend installing a 4 inch media filter cabinet directly before the air handler. These four inch filters can achieve better filtration without restricting airflow as much as an equivalent 1 inch filter.
Answer: In some cases the duct system is outdated or inadequate, in which case the way to correct it is to replace the duct system. In other cases it can be as simple as increasing the duct sizing to the warm bedroom or adding an intake.
Courtesy portable AC units for use while jobs are being completed. These are offered at our discretion while quantities last. Ex. Waiting on a part or waiting for a new system to be installed.
